Divine Saviour celebrates the special “Gifts” and “Talents” that our children have been blessed with.  Along with academic excellence, it our goal to nurture the whole child so that he/she may become “True Loving Disciples Who Will Transform the World.”

Choir – The ministry of music welcome all children, 1st – 8th grade as they celebrate their faith through the gift of music.  Leading our liturgical celebrations, children are trained as cantors and take on the responsibility of leading the community in song.

Lectors – As members of the Children’s Liturgy, students from 2nd – 8th Grade are trained as lectors and proclaim the Word of God at parish and school liturgies.

Altar Serving – The ministry of altar serving is open to all students who have received the sacrament of First Communion. Training is held from grades 3rd – 8th are asked to serve at both school and parish liturgies.

Children’s Liturgy – The mission of Divine Saviour’s Children Liturgy is to provide an opportunity for our children to grow in their faith as dedicated “Active Catholics” and nurtured by a community of faculty, family, and friends, grow into the church leaders of tomorrow who will serve as disciples for the world community.   Students from grades Transitional Kindergarten – 8th participate.

Sports  – Participation in the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) sports league provides an opportunity for our student athletes to pursue their talents on the athletic field.   Students from grades 5th – 8th  participate in basketball and volleyball.

Student Council – The student council is a ministry for students from grades 5th – 8th whose goal is to develop church and community leaders of the future.

Tutoring –   A free after school tutoring program offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help support our students in their efforts to achieve academic excellence.

Community Service – As a school community, we are called to care for our brothers and sisters who are less fortunate.  Our goal is to instill in our children the love of “Service” and providing opportunities to act Christ-like in actions and words.

Morning and Afternoon Care – Morning Care begins at 7am and Afternoon Care runs from 3pm-6pm.

Music – Students attend music class once a week to rehearse songs and mass parts for Fridays and Children’s Liturgy Mass.

Chess Club – Students can attend chess club on Fridays to learn the basics skills on how to play this game.
